A large percentage of Africans have AIDS, and sex education could save many lives by slowing the spread of AIDS (and I mean real sex education, as in teaching them to use condoms, not abstinence education). Do you think the Africans need Jesus more or sex education more? |||I see a lot of christians answering with "Jesus because the lifestyle will lead them to practice abstinence." But judging by obvious statistics very few "christians" get to marriage virgins even though they have "accepted Jesus." I'm telling you, there's no correlation between being christian and being virgin until marriage. Don't believe me? Look it up.|||Sex education.|||Sex education, hands-down. Kind of a freaking no-brainer there. Then again, my answer's gonna be obvious.|||Sex ed.|||It's pretty obvious isn't it. I'd like some Christians to answer this one.|||Pffft, JESUS, duh!
Didn't you hear? Jesus loves you and want you to ask forgiveness for your sins. AIDS is God's solution to people having extramarital sex and homosexuality. It's basically a "get Jesus, or get AIDS" ultimatum.
That God fella sure does know how to tell us what's best for us! Thanks for making AIDS, now we know not to do what our bodies were designed to do!

But seriously even if a woman could wait provided she wasn't raped until the age of consent, whose to say her potential husband hasn't already contracted aids? Birth control via the pill, IUD or shot should be number one. Condoms most certainly to help the spread of aids. ||| Well if it has to be one or the other, Then Sex Ed it is!
As for the Jesus story, that would be all well and good it all followers of the Multi Faith system of Christianity, could agree! But as they can't maybe the should put their own house in order first, I am pretty sure there is a bit of scripture which says the same thing ;-))

I can't help but wonder about people who say just things! I mean are they for real?
Just look at the real world for a moment, not just ones own particular case of fact!
However If we are to look at what these people really need then I would have to say that, if we (the western Christian world) trully want good for these people than we would not allow the (mainly western, Judo-Christian) Multi nationals to exploit them!
Maybe a little of the true teaching of a real Christ would be a little dangerous for the status quo most of us enjoy the benefits of!

I would hope that every person who answered that Jesus would solve the problems in Africa would take an evening off of answering questions here on R%26amp;S, actually educate themselves about the AIDS situation in Africa, and then come back and see if they can give that answer again. If they can, then please, every one of you take the money you would spend on a mission trip to Africa (since you believe so strongly they need Jesus) and donate it to one of the many charities working to help those suffering in Africa and say a prayer. First of all,Africans are not stupid. your question/statement assumes that white civilized countries have something they might teach these poor savages. Sorry, its just that there is an understanding of rigjt and wrong, it is etched on the heart of every man woman and child. Am i wrong?People know the natural consequences of monogomous and extramarital relations. Women, even 14 year old women have the ability to know if there partner is faithful or not. She may not have any control, over whether he is, or if he has control over her body, or not. People. All people have been accsessing the one true God for centuries. Peopkle have had relationships with God for centuries, and therefore have access strengthening their sitution. Education is good. The Bible does not speak against it. It is not the churches job to preach safe sex. This is not preaching Christ. It is not sex educations curriculum to preach Jesus(thsnk God). i beleive if someone knows Jesus and knows about sex education this makes them a stronger witness. If someone knows sex education and not Jesus, we become more like animals, advanced animals, but animals the same. According to Biology for there to be an alpha animal there must be betas and omegas as well. i am thankful for the well educated white people Jesus has allowed to make me stronger. However, i dont want to be in situtions where i have to rely on me, and my skills. My skills i have learned in this world are now FOR GOD

Problem solved.|||Jesus because the Christian life style would preach abstinence which is the only way to prevent AIDS.|||Obviously sex ed is not doing them any good. They should learn about Jesus, because He is returning very soon and all that other stuff won't matter. Even if they get AIDS, as long as they are Saved, they will be healed of the AIDS when Christ returns. If they are taught sex ed instead, they may avoid getting AIDS, but then they will be lost forever, making their "not having AIDS" a moot point. |||Jesus
