I am starting to save for her college years. She will hopefully be going to college in 10 yrs. How would I get an estimate of the amount.|||Right now, private colleges run about 45K and public ones run about 20K (yearly). Estimate costs will increase by about 2% every year. Don't forget about student loans and, if your daughter is academically gifted or athletically gifted (or both), think about the scholarship route.|||Try to invest in a PACT at your job. Trust me, when she gets college age you'll be glad you did!!!!!|||Check out a 529 plan. Either one in your state, or an independent one.
