Anybody know how to save Education, Medicare, and Worker's Rights?

it's the 21st Century, can't we have these and a functioning economy as well?|||does it seem weird to say "save education with education" ...............it's a scary thing that's happening out there right now............the bankers are laughing their way all the way to the bank!

greed and power have corrupted our system and the minds of the unintelligent!|||The problem is everybody defines "save" differently.

Personally, I would say that Charter Schools should be encouraged and students should get vouchers. The best teachers should be kept and rewarded and the worst should have to find another occupation as they do in most other industries.

Medicare should put some serious money into seeking out waste, fraud and abuse and prosecute violators because in the end the investment in hiring an investigative team will pay for itself over time. Also, I think cracking down hard on Doctors and patients who grossly abuse the system sends the message out to other people to not fool around with the program and take the law seriously. I think we demonize people for being in the system without realizing just how many people are abusing the system and don't qualify. (Everyone I know knows at least one person who is stealing from the State of Federal Government and they make it near impossible to turn them in anonymously). It's not fair to all of the people who need these programs that people are allowed to drain them with impunity.

As far as "worker's rights" I believe in Unions for the private sector but not for the public sector. Unions were created to protect the workers from those who pay the bills. Public sector workers don't negotiate with a Representative of the tax payers who pay the bills, instead they negotiate with Politicians. I think that's corrupt.|||Vote Democratic!|||Get rid of unions! It will cure all sectors!!!
