How much would the Federal gov save on education expenses by mandating english only?

It's unclear what savings would be realized. The US Dept. of Education's budget probably would not decrease at all as a result of mandating English only. The US Dept. of Education already has lost a lot of popularity for handing down unfunded or underfunded mandates (like No Child Left Behind), and I doubt that an English-only mandate would do anything to increase its popularity with the state educational agencies or the local school districts.|||Since the federal government does not operate any schools, the answer is zero.
