In Ca. the price of school textbooks has risen 4X's the rate of inflation since the state stoped printing them at the State Print shop. Does anyone out there think Arnold should bring textbook printing back to the State Printer?|||Students who pay campus bookstore prices are suckers!
I use Textbook411.com to search for the lowest prices on my books (searches over 20 top bookstores for lowest price on both new and used books) and always save at least 50%!!!
People need to stop complaining and get with the program, get the 411|||NO. They save $$ for education is just because they need the $$ to graduate from university or college to find a good job and earn more $$|||Of course who isnt interested in saving money! Some people arn't as fortunate as others!|||I think education has gone to hell in a handbasket, and not just where Arnie is governor! Like I answered in another Q, if the government needs to cut a budget somewhere, education is uaually the first to get it. For the pay teachers get in most places, can you imagine yourself teaching in a public school in the Watts District or in PS # so-and-so in Harlem? Geez! Standing in front of the class, trying to teach students the multiplication tables and a bullet wizzes by your ear? I'm rambling on, but in answer to your Q about bring textbook printing back to the State Printer, yes. There are too many other sensless programs out there for educating our kids to take the beating!!!!!!!!!|||California actually printed their own textbooks? Wow.
