Saving for Private School Education: What would you have done differently?

I looking for some wisdom from people who have been saving for their child education. What would you have done differently or what did you do that worked? I am planning to save 600 per month. She is 6 now and will hopefully go when she is 11?.|||well..first i would check and see if the privat school is worth the extra 600 a month more than a public education because that is REALLY expensive.....i mean, its cheaper to just have extra classes to learn on their own..but, i would look at the stuff that i buy.....see if you are buying lots of name brand things, especially cereal and noodles and such, that the generic brand is not different from the name brand, the only thing that makes it a higher price is the name......they really arent better than the other....but that could really save....if thats not enough, i would maybe try to do some extra work....maybe, eventhough you are older, maybe walk dogs for older people, clean houses monthly...small jobs that'll help
